Fed up with being the only people around buying wine in the supermarket, we fiinally got around to going to one of the local merchants selling "vino sfuso" - that is wine on tap. We went to
La Cantina del Vino, which is just a five minute drive out of Barga, and which we have been driving past for three years.
It was a delightful experience, nice family team, with samples galore - as driver, Barbara had to be very careful! We bought our wine already bottled, though it is cheaper if you take along your own container - perhaps next time ...
