Lake Como was looking pretty stunning on Friday morning - a bit like Barga with water added!
The drive south wasn't particularly pleasant, particularly the Milan bypass - think M25, but with road signs in Italian ...
So it was with some relief that we came off the motorway at Aulla (near La Spezia) and enjoyed the more civilised, though slower, drive down the valley to Barga - we only just made it before the light went.
